I offer individual therapy sessions to adults and young people aged 11 upwards. People seek counselling or psychotherapy for many different reasons. You may be struggling after a specific trauma, or living with a persistent sense of tension, unease, or emotional overwhelm that feels difficult to put into words.

Sometimes the ways we learn to cope with pain can begin to create challenges of their own. I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever is troubling you, at a pace that feels right for you. My experience across a range of settings has helped me develop a grounded and flexible approach to my clinical work, supported by a strong theoretical foundation and a clear commitment to ethical practice.

I work with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, generalised anxiety disorder, abuse, addiction, relationship breakdown, separation and divorce, family difficulties, low self-esteem, stress, phobias, loss, and bereavement. In our work together, we may gently look back over your life to better understand not only what you are experiencing now, but also how your relationship with yourself has developed over time. This process can help ease current distress while also supporting deeper emotional healing and lasting change. I usually encourage weekly sessions, although this can be adapted to suit your individual needs. We will review the number and frequency of sessions together as therapy progresses. Therapy can be short-term with clear goals or longer-term for deeper explanation.
